How to Get Cut Abs
There is really only one secret on how to get cut abs. That secret really isn’t even a secret, but it seems to be because so many people obviously can’t figure it out. Take one look around the next time you’re in Walmart, or… most likely you can just look in the mirror in the morning to see someone who doesn’t have cut abs. I’m sorry, I don’t mean to get personal, but that’s why you’re reading this, right?
You want to learn how to get cut abs. Well, let’s get back to that one secret then. The secret is this: you have to create a calorie deficit over a long period of time, usually somewhere between several weeks and several months, until your body has gotten rid of enough fat for your abs to show through.
The Calorie Secret
What’s a calorie deficit you say? Well, here’s how it works… Your body burns a certain amount of calories each day just being alive. If you work out regularly, then your body burns more calories each day then someone who watches TV all day and never works out. The bottom line is, your body burns a certain number of calories each day, and if you put in more calories each day than what your body burns, you gain weight in the form of body fat. On the other hand, if you put in less calories than what your body burns each day, then your body burns body fat.
That simple formula is essentially all you’ll ever need to know to lose body fat and get cut abs. But, there are a lot of things to know and be aware of that will make this process a lot easier for you.
The Right Workouts
Doing the most effective type of workouts is a big thing. Let’s say that mess around on a treadmill for an hour doing a jogging and then walking type of thing… you might burn 500 to 600 calories. If you spend that same hour doing a weight training circuit workout, you could easily burn over 1,000 calories. That’s double your results for the same amount of time.
The Right Foods
Another great tip you should tuck away that will help you get cut abs a lot sooner, is to start eating a lot of vegetables. Not only are vegetables the healthiest thing you can eat, they are also very low calorie as well as extremely filling. If you’re thinking that vegetables suck and you can’t stand eating a lot of them, that just means you don’t know how to cook them right. The reason I know this is because the only thing my fat little dog would never eat was vegetables in any form. That bastard would pick through meatloaf and not even eat the carrots. Once I learned the magic formula (as well as other recipes I learned here) of parmesan cheese sprinkled on basically any type of vegetable, even the picky black lab started eating my extra vegetables.
